Raul Allikivi


Raul Allikivi was born in Estonia in 1979

He graduated from Tartu University in 2002

He completed his master's degree at Waseda University in 2005 and started working at the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications.

He served as Deputy Director General of Economic Development Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications in 2007 until 2012. He was in charge of designing new strategies and policies for the Estonian information society for the year 2020.

From 2010 to 2012 he was an official government auditor of Estonia Airlines helping to rebuild the airline.

Allikivi is currently living in Japan. To make full use of his experience and knowledge of Estonian administration, he established a consulting company ESTASIA in December 2012, that introduces the administrative system of Estonia to Asia. In December 2013 he established a company called BIIRU to import Japanese craft beer into Europe.

In 2016, together with Hirao, he founded the IoT Start-up and the branch office of Planetway Corporation, the Planetway Europe.
