Seishiro Tsuruho


Seishiro Tsuruho Graduated from Osaka University Graduate School Engineering Master's Program in 1966.

In 1966 he joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation.

He was appointed as Manager of NTT Software Research Institute in 1989. From 1993 he served as General Manager of Development of NTT CORP and then as Managing Director and General Manager of Technology Development from 1995.

He became the President of NTT Software Corp in 1997.

From 2001 he served as XML Consortium Chairman at Information Processing Society of Japan.

In 2003 he started working at Kochi University of Technology Faculty of Engineering as an Professor of Information Systems Engineering and at Nara Institute of Science and Technology as a Guest Professor.

In 2004 he became a director at Software Engineering Center of Information-technology Promotion Agency.

In 2005 he become a Guest Professor at Wakayama University Academic Information Center, the committee member of the working group at Japan Science and Technology Agency, and temporary advisory member at the council of METI to promote the creation of university start-ups.

In 2006 he joined the external evaluation committee of “Collaborative management type information studies" at MEXT’s Support Program for Contemporary Educational Needs, as well as the Science Council of Japan. He was also named the Vice-President of Business Process Management Association and the President of Practical software education consortium.

In 2009 Mr. Seishiro Tsuruho became the principal of HAL College of Technology and Design in Tokyo.

In 2014 he become the President of the Embedded Systems Innovation Association.
