From 1988 Yuta Ishida worked at the R & D department of a major electromechanics company for 10 years mainly dealing with supercomputers and open systems for technical calculations. He was in charge of the application of distributed processing and security technology and also business improvement projects.
In 1998 he started working at a major accounting consulting firm. He was mainly engaged in business process re-engineering (BPR) projects and M & A projects for various companies in finance, manufacturing, general trading field etc.
After that, he worked in automotive sales and at a venture consulting firm participating in the launch of a new business.
In 2005 joined a major telecommunications company, where he was constantly reforming the work methods, by launching a cloud for inbound tourism, e-Government related projects, cyber security, etc. He was committed to state-of-the-art technologies and promoting projects, which were supporting social changes.
In 2015, he participated in the launching of the Japan-Estonia-EU Digital Society Promotion Council as the Member of the Board to promote the Estonian e-government model in Japan. As a part of this project he supported the publication of "Future-shaped country: Estonia's Challenge" in 2016.
